    Ammo Storage

How do you store your Ammo?

Factory packaging, or aftermarket plastic Plano type boxes.

I use the MTM ammo cases. They are the beige colored and come with the black holding trays. Good solid box.

I use various plastic flip tops for my hand loads. However my preferred storage is in magazines.

I use old school .50 cal steel ammo cans with the rubber gaskets. I leave the ammo in the factory boxes and throw a hand full of descant pacs in with the ammo. I have stored ammo this way for decades and never have had any problems. We don't have the humidity here that some areas have.

Factory boxes, inside Plano cans, inside Pelican cases. This is just overflow ammo for storage.

+1 on this. Great way of storing but dang if those ammo cans can get heavy when full of rounds.
