I went Friday and it was busy. Same thing year after year and nice for something to do. Beer was cold and tasty.

I was there on Friday. Came down with my son to see a Blues hockey game the night before. A slightly bigger show than we get here. Didn't find much to spend money on. Probably a good thing.

I was hoping for a good deal on electronics. Didn't find it.

Yep, These shows use to be the place to get a bargain on anything and everything fishing related but not so much any more.

all I saw was overpriced tackle and boats. The days of getting a decent buy on tackle went out the door when the booth rates went out of site.

This is the best show you will find close to St. Louis. I agree, the "deals" weren't that great this year. The boats are like anything else - ridiculous, but good to look at!

For the local tackle guy and some boat dealers it is getting to expensive and to big of a hassle to set up.

. So that $76k Ranger 520L was a cheap package deal! They make it very hard for me to want to get rid of my boat.

Did anybody happen to pick up a business card from, or have contact info for, the "Cool Fishing Stuff" stand?

We (omega) had a Great show...
DUNNs was BLOWING out a ton of stuff as I bought 52 bags of Megabass plastics for 1$ each and another 30 Jackall baits for 1.50$ each..
Id say thats a KILLER deal.. They also were blowing out other overstock stuff..
