    ‘96 bullet 20xd

Looking into buying this boat. Very well taken care of. 08 merc xs. Anyways, what I’m looking for and can’t seem to find are the specs on this hull. Curious how many gallons of fuel it holds as well as if there’s any wood at all in this hull/stringers/transom. Did a quick google search with no luck. Thanks in advance guys. Ryan

30 gallons likely. Yes there is. Also, either 96 or 97 they changed the transom to make them stronger.

Just look in there and see if it has 2 or 3 braces. Either I think is strong Bullet is a good boat. I have a 91 model. I had a Blazer 202 95 model before.... you won’t miss the Blazer.... at all....

The 96 model was all wood and you could get a 30 or 32 gallon tank. The double strongback transom didn't come along until 98.

Paul confirmed for me once before on another thread that the double strongback transom began in 1995. He explained that all 1996 and later models will have it. My 96 does have it.

    I have a 96 and it doesn't. I recently replaced the transom in 2 97 models (1 20XD & 1 21XD) and neither of them did.

I rigged hulls for them back in 97-98. When they went with the double strongback, the lower one was causing the aerator hose to kink. Lowel Bryant, the GM back then, had me change out the aerators with ones with a 90 degree neck.
