    Talon design

Am I the only one to ever think they should be making a left and right talon, so the power control unit is to the inside towards the motor on both talons vs both the same?

Can you buy the plastic filler to hold the wire in the slot?

I currently have blades, well. Ever since noticing the bolts, nuts and tubing is the same left to right I have been battling the idea of rebuilding one mirrored for symmetry

I don't find the button position to be a problem, but don't understand not having a power off position on the switch. I dropped the cover for a fish finder on the switch pedal, and thought how that could have been a problem, as they where in the tilt down position in the garage with the doors down. I will be putting switches in the lines to turn off power in the next day or 2.

Jeff, I wrapped black tape around the power cable, maybe 4 or 5 wraps in the same location and pressed it into the slot in a couple locations and it worked perfect.

The best way for a shut off would be to mount a simple relay in back that is turned on by the power switch on our console. That way its on and off with everything else, vs another switch or two to deal with.

There is a piece that comes with the Talon that does that for you.

I want to fill the whole slot from top to bottom. Just like the piece that they install on the top.

    Jeff,
Your Phoenix should already have a power disconnect for the talons in the bilge compartment.

Man glad I'm not the only weirdo that thinks this about talons! Looks so weird with both panels going in the same direction.
