    GENERAL TIPS 2018

Use peanut butter jars in smallest/medium sizes to store many things..

Get a thick bright rope at least 6 feet longer than your boat to launch...

Slice a rubber 0-ring with a razor blade to get trailer hook retainers...

Use a 3/0 trailer on all buzz baits, it really matters...

Buy a TunaStick 8 or 10 ft to use as a bow power pole, under $125!
(plus it can get you out of some tough shallow water jams)

Idle engine 3 minutes after launch before slamming down on it...

A snug Shooter's Ear muff is used by some pros when they make long runs...

Keep 2 microfiber towels in your boat...

Boat can be wiped down after take-out using 50/50 Simple Green and water...

Use only Windex Multisurface with Vinegar and a microfiber cloth to wipe screens...

Tires lose a pound a month of air so check them 4x a year minimum...

Add a can of Sea Foam to both truck and boat engine before longest trips...

Check boat screws/bolts for tightness 2x a year...you will find 1/4-1/2 turn loose to be common...

Pledge and Turtle Wax & Wipe are good for boat boat and truck...many less bugs stick...

Use a 4 inch electrical ties to replace those rubber skirt holders on your baits...

Always have a large plastic glass tumbler in the boat...has many uses...private use mainly...

Have a tough plastic pitcher in the bilge area...bailing with your hands not the way...

Carry an extra cell phone battery charge gizmo for a quick doubling of cell phone time...

    Do not go cheap...get 2 good flashlights...one smallish/one normal size...extra batteries too...

Keep a couple of qt & gallon freezer bags in the boat...multiple uses...

A half roll of toilet paper fits in a used peanut butter jar...how perfect is that?

Boat should store a windbreaker and light gloves most of the year for bad fronts....

Thicker socks help the ankles and knees over a long T-day...

A VERY bright hat or towel can be the diff if you break down and need help...wave wave...

I carry a couple of Folger’s plastic canisters (31 ounce size). One holds a full roll of toilet paper, the other can be used for personal business whether male or female (they need good aim). They come in various sizes, and can be used for all sorts of things. I keep my small grease cartridges, 2-4-C Mercury grease, etc. in one. The smaller 11.5 ounce size is good for keeping an assortment of nuts, bolts, screws, small TM spare parts and electrical connectors in the boat.
Also keep a full change of clothes in a Space Saver vacuum bag. Change them out for Summer or Winter. Stores flat, and keeps clothes dry.

I find the best personal use container for liquid is the half gallon tea or orange juice bottles with a few drops of anti bacterial soap and few ounces of water to kill the smell.

Tires dont lose a pound a month, unless they have a leak..

But they do vary based on temperature outside. higher pressure in hotter temps. so you can set them at 36 on a 90 degree day and theyll be 38 on 100 day or around 30 if its a 50 degree day.

Simple green is what Minnesota's DNR recommends for wiping down the boat ,Before you drive off. It's the law there, most ramps have signs about invassives.
