    new Ranger with Evinrude from Cabelas this year now they only service mercury engines

    Since Basspro bought Cabelas I was told they now only service Mercury engines.
    Man that sucks you invest all that money in a new boat and now Cabelas cannot service the engine because it is not a Mercury. I found out I have to go to another dealer. I should have just bought the boat from an independent dealer.

    If you look at the website I guess they will carry basspro brand boats.

    Don't know if I would be sad about not having to go to Cabelas for service. After the work they did on a 4wheeler, I won't bring them anything.
