Hds 12 on a Cougar ftd

I have a 2012 cougar ftd and looking at adding a hds12 to the dash on a sherms mount. Currently running a hds9 just curious if I swap it for the 12 is it gonna block the view of my upper gauges? If anyone has one mounted like this I would love to see it. Thanks

Just curious what's a Sherms mount it? I hear people talk about it but I have no clue what it

Its a dash mount that you get through Sherms Marine. They are similar the mounts from precision sonar and bass boat technologies.

No, the mount should clear the gauges. I put one on a 13 Puma FTD and replaced an in dash hds10

I have the exact thing you are asking on my Cougar. It does not block the gauges.
