Compatability '95 200 - '97 225

I have a mech friend supposed to get back to me with an answer but he is way slow, so bringing the question here.

I have a '95 Venom 200 (no issues but am exploring adding some ponies to the old 201Pro).

Have a line on a '97 225 (ocean pro if makes a difference) dressed power head. Want to know if it's a straight bolt-up swap to my midsection and/or any complications.

If a 'go', may check what it would take to freshen up the cylinders for full effort.

Yes it will physically bolt on the mid section and use the same control cables. But you will need an adapter for the wiring harnesses. They were changed in 1996. They are available to convert a 95 boat to a 96 motor.
