My boat is just sitting in the yard and a chunk of the lower unit just falls off onto the ground. Came from right in front of the skeg, about a 2-3 inch diameter piece. It's only the bonds and nothing has leaked from it. Just strange. I bout it a couple months ago from a guy in north Alabama and he said it was just cleaned up by Titus. Ran it a couple times with no issue and it ran good. Never seen this before.
Are you talking about a chunk of bondo on a coned LU. I have seen where the bondo has cracked but not fallen off.
It is no do but it's like a chunk just fell off and in a weird spot. Made a couple calls and seems it can be repaired with no issues.
