California Members - where are you?!

BBC California members, where are you?! I know I’m not the only one..

How’s the colder weather treating you? Anyone still out there fishing?

I’ve been hitting the delta past few weeks with not so great success. I hear San Luis reservoir and Pittsburg areas are doing great for striper.

I’ll be on the water midweek at Melones trying to find some deep bass.

Headed to McClure in a few days to check it out. Snagged a few rainbows in McSwain over the Thanksgiving weekend, McClure produced zero bass on that trip.

I hear Camanche is on fire right now for rainbows, i think they recently planted something like 4500lbs. We caught a few deep bass at McClure last weekend in the 3lb range. Was a great trip.

    Tight lines!

Lake Amador has been planting big trout like crazy the last few weeks. I haven't been to Amador in awhile, but I remember it being a little more expensive to fish there.

Did you find any bass in Melones? I am hoping to hit that this weekend and see if the storm has stirred anything up.
