    Places to stay at LOZ?

Buddy and I are thinking of heading to Lake of the ozarks in march for a few days of fishing. Any recommendations? Small cabin would be great but would be interested in any recommendations. Thanks.

Robins Resort. Middle of the lake, boat ramp n docks. They have small cabins and condos. Stayed in both and they're both clean.

I wouldn’t recommend the golden door inn.
Was down there last weekend and saw that they leveled it!

Check VRBO. Lots of great condos for rent CHEAP that time of year

Kapilana is a gem, from posh condo's to 2 room hotel suites, to one room cabins, all waterfront with plenty of slips and only a mile from PB2.

I've stayed at Kapalana about 10 times from about 1990 to 2000. Every summer about 30 of us would rent out the entire resort for a week. Back then we didn't have to worry about the ocean going vessels going to party cove, so the water was pretty calm. Not so much now. This was always family week with pleasure boats, so no fishing.

A couple of years ago, my SIL and I rented a cabin at Val-e-vue resort north of Camdenton for the Big Bass Bash. Absolutely perfect for fishing. Not fancy, covered boat slip, not much traffic and pretty close to some great fishing. There is even a ramp at the resort.
