    What Prop Do I Need?

    I have a 1998 150 hp Mercury XR6 on a 18' Champion and need to get a new prop for it what do you think would be the best?

    Tempest Plus or Trophy Plus in a 23P would be a start.

    That sounds right to me. My 18 footer with a 150 Merc came with the Tempest Plus as recommended by the manufacturer.

    I have a 23p like mentioned above and a 19p on the sale page on here. I used the 19 on no wake lakes as my 150 was older 1984 and carb so it ran a ton better at idle and such with the 19 and a few more rpms at idle speed across the lake. My boat was also a 18footer.
