I wish I was in Florida, so I could be happy if I caught 10 largemouth in a day.

Just walking down to see if the Big Ones are locked on beds yet. I am going to put my Go Pro down and shoot some underwater video.

I heard it was so cold in Florida, that lizards are falling out of the trees. People were thinking they were dying. But they were just that cold.

That was 2 weeks ago. Going up to 80 today. Fish are not locked on beds yet. But I did have this guy swim by. None of them where you fish I bet.

That is just a large lizard. Actually they could live where I have been fishing. :-)

We went to see Larry last night. It was a little dark for a good photo. He must be 10-12 feet long. He even has his own Facebook Page. Not sure if he has a PC or just uses his phone. I will get good photo in a couple days.

Some brand tubes have the tails cut too far up the body leaving nothing to rig the hook point into. Using a smaller shorter hook is not an answer for me as I don't like the bite of the hook.

I have not fished these yet, But they rig great. If you like 3.5in tubes, It's no big deal to cut 1/2 inch off the tails. I think you could catch fish all day on these with the same bait. If the weather is decent this weekend, I'll be testing them out for durability. Softer plastic should also increase hook ups.

I forgot to mention... This Elaztech material has a high float attitude. It keeps the tube upright off the bottom. Regular tubes fall down on their side and can increase hang ups. This plastic makes this rig on the ball head almost stand up. The tails wave around at rest, Unlike a dead tube on the bottom. They are a thinner profile than a dipped tube, But that don't bother me at all.

Fished the z-man elaztech tubes yesterday... They sucked. The plastic moves around too much on the hook after every fish. They actually didn't last as long as a regular salted tube.

We caught over 150 bass on the stupid tube jig again yesterday. Would have caught a lot more, But the temps dropped and froze up eyelets and reels. We left when we were still catching fish every cast.
