3D Transducer Mount?

Hey guys,

Anyone have picks on how you mounted your 3D Transducer? It's significantly longer than my old structure scan one and I'm planning on installing on Thursday. Right now the structure scan one is mounted to the bottom of my skid planer. Speaking of the skid planer, I did notice a ding on the drivers side of it that bent it up a little..any issues this will cause?

Get the transducer off the skid planer.

Mount it to the side of your jackplate with a transducer shield or see if bobs has a bottom plate and mount the transducer under the jackplate.

By removing the LSS2 from my skid planer I gained water pressure, engine height, handling, and most importantly I stopped cracking props. With positive trim the back of the boat was being pushed down and the long lss2 was dragging the water and disturbing the water flow to the prop.
