I recently order a Z20/250 Pro XS and would like to hear some feed back on how different props perform. This will be the new NVT hull, not sure if that will effect prop choice?

It will come with a 25 Fury on it and that should be fine. I am curious how long they said it would take to get your boat delivered.
I have the 25 fury on mine and run 72.3 at 5500 rpm's. Would like to try a 24 but nobody has 1 to try around here.

Just got mine a week ago or so. Have 10 hrs on it. 25 fury getting 5500 rpm and can’t hit 70. 69 is the best I’ve seen. Raised the jack plate, it helped holeshot but haven’t gained any top end. If I raise it anymore the prop blows out. Still have about 20 psi water pressure. Thinking of buying another prop to gain a few more mph but not sure what direction to go. I think either a 24 fury or a 25 tempest.
Thoughts?
For the guys with new motors don’t jump to another prop too quick. Both new ProXS motors came pretty tight out of the crate. They loosened up and gave better numbers after about 35 hours.

That's good advice. Love everything about it so far.. Very stable at speed.

Amount of gear, driving abilities. Unless your z8 is the 2010-12 era a 20 should be faster

I’ll have to check it again. I can’t remember off the top of my head.
This boat is hands down a better riding and handling boat than the z8 was. But it’s still new and sure needs to have a few more hours on it. But I’ll sacrifice a couple mph for a better ride at speed.
I run a moderate load. I wasn’t expecting 75 out of it, but I’d like to see 72-73. It’s just going to take some time.
Every combo has to be worked on, lots of variables. Prop, hull, weight, general set up. The NVT is not necessarily faster, it's easier to produce a product with less issues, and has some desired handling characteristics. U'll get there.

Just out playing a 25 tempest a friend let me borrow instead of the 25 fury, ended up at 72.9 on multiple passes. 5800rpm according to merc monitor and 19 psi water pressure. This was with me(260lbs) a moderately heavy load of tackle, 2/3 tank of fuel and 2 8ft blades. Great holeshot and didn't need to trim nearly as high to get the same numbers as I did with the fury. Prop to pad is about 2.5 inches. So if this motor opens up like people think it will it's going to be a rocket.

Sounds like a 24 Fury would be good also. I would try one if you can find one.
