I sold a guy a rod off here last week and shipped it at office depo. When i check tracking it says pre shipment awaiting usps acceptance. This was only shipping 2 hours down the road from me. Anyone else ever had this issue?

USPS tracking is usually a joke. I've had it say "Label printed", but there's no record yet of it moving and the package already made it to the destination.
Yes USPS tracking is not real time by any means. But hey, they can say they have it...

usps is delivery confirmation, not tracking
Not cheaper it was only 15$ to ship. Plus the time it would take.
Its 2 hrs down 95 and its been 5 days and nothing thats why im worried
How did you put the label on it? if its not scannable by robot it often times won't get scanned until delivery

It will most likely travel hours away to the closest hub before backtracking to destination.
I mailed a retirement package from Knoxville to Virginia on November 28th. They still have not got it. New package to fill out is on the way to me via FedEx... Will not use USPS again unless I don't care if it ever gets there...
Yep--pretty much my thinking on a package mailed with USPS--never know when or if ever it will get there
Once USPS takes delivery I’ll usually get a some sort of notification that the package is in route to its first of many stops.
I’d be calling Office Depot. Sounds like they notified USPS, but the package hasn’t left the Depot for some reason.

This is why they are going out of business. USPS is the worst EVER. I sold two life jackets to a fellow member. Tracking number has said in transit for almost two weeks wait two week today. I tried to start a claim they said I had to wait for 15 days. I may end up refunding the buyer. So I'm out the life jackets and the money.
