    Unhappy Sad news

The man, the myth, the legend Toledo Bend Jim passed away yesterday. For us old timers, he's surely going to be missed. The man had stories for days, could always put a smile on your face, and welcomed all into his life.

    RIP, Jim.

And throw up a prayer for Ms Luby and the rest of the family.
    Alan

Jim was fantastic. I still laugh every time I think about him and his stories. The one about the canadians coming down to the bend to catch sacaulait was hilarious. He was a good cook too. I use his cowboy bean recipe and his rice dressing recipe still.
