    Nolin or rough?

    Any one been to nolin or rough river lately looking to go next Saturday?

    I have not been to either ,but they are calling for rain several times down that way this week. They both might be turned into cold chocolate milk shakes by Saturday morning.

    This could be true depending on the amount of rain. It doesn't take much with the exposed mud flats on both lakes. That said, you have a better chance of finding clean water on Nolin even after rain. I personally like Nolin for quantity in the colder months because Rough is quality bites but typically a lot less of them.

    Sucked lol caught maybe 7 fish 1 keeper. Water very clear, temp ranged from 42-46
