    Humminbird & Lowrance

If I install a Humminbird at the bow and have a Lowrance HDS-12 gen3 at the console can they share waypoints thru Ethernet or NMEA 2000?

No but if you get a Solix (or used ONIX) the waypoints are imported and exported as GPX files which you can transfer to and from the Lowrance with an SD card. Not all information about a waypoint may be handled by the unit importing the GPX file (stuff like icon, depth, group) but the waypoint co-ordinates will transfer fine.
