    Duck reports

What’s it look like where you are? I haven’t been since last weekend and didn’t see many at all. The ponds may have ice in the morning which is good for me. Hoping to at least see some ducks.

In N. Ala there isn't any water in the areas we need to flood. The goober season is open in public water now that schools are out. Those poor ducks get chased all over Guntersville and sky-busted until next semester starts..........That said...not many birds around.

We had 11 limits in 1 hr 15 min last week in Arkansas It was awesome

Wow that is awesome! Hunted the local lake today and only killed 1 wigeon and some mergansers. Saw several large groups of mallards leaving the refuge, but none close by. Didn’t see any divers at all. All of the good weather/wind has fallen on work days so far this season Maybe next weekend

Couple of friends have a small place in Ballard County in western KY with 7 or 8 acres of flooded corn. They have killed just over 200. Of course , they killed 101 of them the first 4 days of season.

A buddy and I killed a two man limit of wood ducks and greenheads last week. Got out before work today and we killed another two man limit of mallards, woodies and one grey. The areas we are hunting are covered with wood ducks, teal and a decent number of mallards in southern Oklahoma. Next weeks cold front should have the woodies pushed out of here for the season.

Been hunting S.Illinois. We have limited last 4 days, mostly mallards with a few odd balls mixed in. Killed some pintails yesterday. Things are looking better in the next week with weather moving in.

Friends in northern Ky have been killing dry feeding mallards for the last week. Ducks have been feeding in the corn fields a couple of miles off the Ohio River.

Isolated spots have had good luck with lots of woodducks taken. We just got some needed rain and the Christmas cold front should change our luck.

Weather and wind look crappy tomorrow so we’re gonna try Sunday. Makes me sick to sit at home during season

We have killed them good the last 4 days(12/20-12/23) Finally got rain, sleet, snow and new birds. Mainly mallards but also gadwalls and pintails. This cold weather coming soon and snow north of us should push another migration through. We are hunting southern Ill. and S.E. Missouri. Good luck to all and merry Christmas.
