    Sonos

Anyone else seem this system? Awesome way to listen to music in your home.
I'm going to have to save up for the sound bar w/sub. Best sound and technology I've run across to date.

What do you have? And what have your experiences been?

I can mess up a wet dream. So no link! Just google sonos if you're interested. You won't be disappointed.

Yes, I have two Sonos one units. One at either end of the house. Sounds fantastic for such a small unit. EVERYBODY that comes over asks what it is.

We have two. One in our main house and one on the dock at the lake house. Love it. great music via pandora, gets a lot of local stations by using Tunin App and even some sports stations.

Have owned them for maybe 10 years.

Thanks, was going to get Alexa for my two daughters in college. However Sonos was intriguing. Googled the company and did a bit of research. Finally decided on Sonos for their college dorms. When they get their own homes they will be able to add to it. Great option. Both have all their music on phones. So this will work great. Going to pick up a couple of the Sonos 1 for my home.

Anybody have the soundbar and/or sub for their tv? Can you get away with just the soundbar, or do you recommend the sub at the same time?

I support their lifestyle now as it is. LOL
I don't want to spoil them any more than i already do. LOL
Need to leave some of life pleasures for them to learn on their own.

Heard the same from a co-workers son that installs Sonos for a living. He said Bose hands down unless you want the wireless capabilities.

I have Bose as well. Granted they may older models from what is available now. However, the Sonos comparatively price system does have quality sound rivaling the Bose sound. With the added bonus of Wi Fi.
Since I cut TV altogether, my music collection has grown tremendously. Thanks to Sonos I can play wherever and whatever I want at that particular time.

At this time, every other great sound system is playing catch up to the sonos connectivity technology.

For those of you following this thread,
I decided on the sonos 3 system for the my home. Being it's Christmas cannot justify the cost of the 5's at this time. But, they are on my wishlist.

I like window rattlers so the bluetooth stuff doesnt do it for me in-home, but have listened to the Sonos products and they are about as good as it gets for portable speakers.

Cowtrimmer. Unless Bluetooth and Internet connection are the same ( I am not an intellectually electronics gifted person )
The Sonos plays anywhere you have a internet connection. I was at the sore yesterday and was able to connect to my app. via the stores wi fi. 20 miles away.

Sonos blows Bose out of the water when it comes to sound and price....the Sonos sound bar and sub are absolutely amazing! Add in a couple play5's for rears and you will have an awesome setup. One of the best parts of the Sonos systems is the ability to build on it...you could put a speaker in each bedroom of the house...each person can control that speaker separately...or you can broadcast from one source to all the speakers on the system.

I have 2 TV’s set up with the Sonos sound bar and sub. You want both ideally. In my media room I also have 2 Sonos one’s on the opposite side of the room. All the ancillary sound comes through them.
