    No one can tell me the answer to this question Yamaha ProV 150

    Model# 150TLRP

    How can I convert my 1991 ProV 150 into a 175?

    Try Scream and Fly. BBC generally doesn't provide info on hopping up your outboard.

    But, if I had to make a suggestion, I'd look into the Hydrotech Phase 1 kit. Fatter jets, high compression heads, and carbon fiber reeds.

    I was told by Hydrotec that heads were no longer available. I guess that was a couple years ago...

    When Hydro Tec put the phase 1 kit on my 1990 150 proV in 1991 or 1992 I believe the kit included big bore carbs, a big bore throttle body, carbon reeds and a different oil pump. Could be wrong on the parts, its been a while. And for those wondering about the reliability, 27 years and still running strong.

    Get with hydrotech or go buy yourself some 200 hp carbs.

    Don't think the Pro-V is that different from the VMAX.

    Heads, reed, jets. I'm half tempted to add it to my VMAX.
