    Raymarine 2d

    I have two Raymarines and love them. Had one of the first Dragonflys and still use that along with an A98.

    I am very used to what I am seeing on 2d but it is different than other brands. Even moving I rarely get much of a classic arch. It shows more of a blob similar to the di. Anyone else notice this?

    No, I get good arches on fish. Have you checked to make sure your transducer is flat to the bottom. Check your settings also.

    A low frequency will produce more arches than a high frequency due to the wider coverage. Arches are a result of time and distance within the sonar pulses.

    Yup Wayne. Mine look like the top one. As said I dont mind it as I am used to reading it well.
