    vz250 3.3 or SHO

Started looking for a used boat. Frankly on a tight budget. So I'm looking 2005 to 2011 20 or 21 footer with a 250. I had awesome luck with my VZ250 and have been looking that direction. I like the Idea of not buying /adding oil all the time so possible ease of a 4 stroke is interesting. Any thoughts would be helpful.

    Thanks

Get the older boat with a good Yamaha motor on it, then trade it for a New SHO with 6yrs of warranty. Pay about the same as a 2011 with a SHO that doesn't have warranty.

Get the SHO. There are a few horror stories from the early model SHO's but over all the SHO is much more reliable and a more powerful motor than any of the 3.3l HPDI's.

I got 6 years with my new SHO. I had one of the very first SHO’s made and loved it! Never an issue just turn the key and go, and it was a beast.
