    Wheel lug nut locks

What size are the lugs for the 919 trailer? Wanting to get the lug nut/wheel locks I ask this being I am at work and do not have the manual. I want to lock them so I don't come back from all day fishing and have 4 wheels missing.

    1/2" RH, I run these,https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
which are semi secure, you need the tool but not unique to each set, I carry a set of locks also if I ever go anywhere that theft may be a concern but around here thats not an issue.
now that I have said that I better go put them on.

McGard, part # 24538. They are 1/2 - 20 thread. 4 for the trailer wheels and one for the spare. And, the lock key takes the same size socket as the wheel lug nuts.

The 5th one works on the spare on the trailer?

Yes. I also bought enough locks so I could put the same on the towing vehicle, and use one key for the truck and for the trailer, with a key in the truck, and another key in the boat. With the regular nuts in the packet in the boat, as extras in case a nut or 2 get lost.

That part # is for 5, and the 5th fits on the spare to lock it to the trailer.

I cant imagine someone stealing boat trailer wheels, most thiefs wouldnt think they would fit much else.

I still cant imagine it, they arent good looking wheels or a good size tire for any cars even.

Many years ago while walking out from work the guy in front of me looked at my boat and said that is would be great to steal it. Then he looked at the hitch and said there wasn't a hitch lock. So I bought a good lock, and have been doing so ever since. I had the boat at work to go fishing on the lake next to the shop.

Also had gas stolen from my car even many more years earlier. Then I bought a locking gas cap, and have been ever since. That VERY night the neighbor came over and asked me if I could sell him a gal of gas. I said no. We used the same driveway.

Oh, and a guy I know had his transom saver stolen while at a Bass Club Jamboree tourny many years ago. And others had their props stolen at the same lake at different times. Thieves will steal anything.

One locking lug isnt going to prevent a thief from taking your wheels, anyone with any mechanical aptitude know you pound a socket over the lock or a stripped lug nut to remove it, if you want to try and prevent theft you need the full lug nut set that requires the key, most thieves likely wont pound on 20 sockets.....

And yes Ive heard of props and transom saver as well as electronics thefts, those are common by me if you stay on a reservation at all!
