The built-in transducers are only Sonar 2D 83/200khz....no imaging capability.

All the built in sonars (Motorguide and MinnKota) are 83/200 frequency and just gives sonar.

What are people doing to attach the down scan on the 5xi? Do they run the transducer else where?
I don't have one but check out board sponsor precision sonar.

I have a terrova so this should work for yours as well. Use coiled air hose if you can find it big enough, but I just used 3/8" electrical conduit and wrapped it around the lower part of the shaft so when deployed it can turn all the way but it coils up when stowed, if I could figure out how to do pictures I would post one so you could see. So far it works great
