    8" Manual Jack Plate

Looking for an 8" Jack Plate. Where can I find the best deal, and what brand do you recommend? Going on a 2015 Nitro Z7.

    Thanks

How much you want to pay??? Different brands will be different in cost.......cheapest probably will be a Vance Mfg. plate ( http://www.vancemfg.com/ ).....lots of guys on here had this plate including myself and is a great jp.....then you have TH Marine Z Lock plates, Bob's Machine Shop plates, Slidemaster plates, etc......

We have several sponsors that sell jp's....

    Bob's ( https://bobsmachine.com/product/8-he...te-300-hp-max/ )

    TH Marine ( http://thmarine.com/z-lock-jack-plates )
YOU are not entitled to what I have earned!!!!!

I bought a 10 here in the swap and sell for a pretty good price, and nothing wrong with it at all. It’s a Slidemaster I like it better than the one I had, only have to loosen the bolt on the outside don’t have to get a wrench on the inside.

Thanks for the information. What are your thoughts on Hydro Dynamic Rapid Jack?

I have never known anyone personally who had one, but I love the idea begins it one click is a 1/4 inch very simple. Only thing is more parts usually means more could go wrong or break, but I love the convept

Had a 21 XD and 20 XD Bullets and both had 10" Rapid Jack plates and were easy to adjust. Once they were dialed in I just left them alone. Good units and I would recommend them.

I would get the 8" Slidemaster that Basscat sells. It is a 6 bolt design for added support.

The OPs boat will not have the additional holes in the transom for the two extra bolts.

1/2" drill bit will solve that problem
