    Xmas Presents

Anyone getting any golf related presents this year?
I found a sweet used set of Ping iBlades that were perfect condition and priced very right. Couldn’t pull the trigger as they aren’t any better than what I have now so I talked myself out of them. I have an itch for something so I will most likely end up with a new putter.

Taylormade Spider Tour putter and I have an Apex Pro 8 iron with an Aerotech Steelfiber 110 X shaft coming from Callaway to do some testing. The ole joints are hating the X100's these days....lol.

The old joints must not be doing to bad if you still got the horse power to flex an X shaft!!

Whoa. You are going all out. I’ve heard some great things about those irons. A buddy of mine has the subzero Epic and he loves it. At the very least, your scores may still suck but damn it, you will look good getting there! Not that I can relate to that....

Yeah, I'm 42 and over the last two years I have started to see the decline. I used to have another gear that I could get if needed but not anymore.....

I did. We went through 11 shafts with different kick points, and hit the stock one the best. I was carrying 265-275 with it (using a sleeve of Callaway Chrome Soft that I purchased). I was happy with the numbers, spin was about 2100 with the driver on backspin and about 800 right when averaged out over 15 shots.

I hit them extremely well in the mizuno bay, nice tight grouping with the 7i @ 160-165. Felt solid off the face, and hit a draw/pull with 2deg upright so lowered that to 1 up. I hope I am happy with them.

I just turned 47 and my motor is spewing all over. Went to all graphite in the irons and wedges this past season.

Next week I'm going for X-rays on my elbow then to the sports med dr again. If I'm fortunate to get a cortisone shot when I go that will be my golf related belated Christmas present.

My wife plays the AP2’s and I play the CB’s. I’ve hit hers and they are nice. You are going to love them. I got the dynamic gold AMT shafts in my CB’s and they are awesome. Ive played Titleist Irons for the past 25 years, before that had Mizuno MS-7 blades. Love my Titleist Irons
