Have a question on a Bird 678 c DI

Will a 678 c turn on/off out of the water ? Not expecting the screen to show bottom readings But will it power on and be capable of changing Palette colors, run simulator and then be able to shut off by holding in the power button. Thanks for all input

Yes, lots use the Simulator to practice with the unit. Just need a 12 V power source that can support about 2A.

Actually 1A will support it in Simulator. Done it many times with my 1198's.

I have four Humminbird units on my desk now.

I just bought this from someone on here and hooked it up the screen lights up can get to everything in novice and advanced , It will not shut down from the power screen by holding in nor change palette colors its in black letters/numbers with white back ground on 2d the right side numbers are in blue the only way to shut down is to unplug power is this worth sending in to be repaired . Thanks Wayne
