Engine Noise ?

2015 250 Pro XS, while running steady at around 4800 rpms motor has what sounds like a out of balance tire roar rather than a constant running sound. Don't know any other way of describing it. Boat & motor moves along smooth no shaking. Could this be a Alt. belt? It's going to the dealer tomorrow for other things and I'll have them check it out. Going to have them check the prop shaft also.
