I know that most of you will not know him but a number of you will. Richard Morris, an avid Oklahoma bass fisherman was recently permanently paralyzed in a bicycle accident while vacationing in New Jersey. After surgery, and for a while a touch and go initial recovery he is back "home" in an Oklahoma hospital after yet another surgery. Richard is a retired Oklahoma school teacher and while there is insurance for some of the medical expenses the family is incurring there is also a significant number of "out of pocket" expenses that have and will continue to occur for the foreseeable future.
Your prayers for Richard and his family are coveted. In particular for his wife Robbie, a pillar of strength who is not only dealing with the daily issues of Richard's immediate and long term care but her own personal adjustment to both his and her new "normal". A normal most of us can't imagine and one that for myself anyway has given me a new perspective on my so called problems.
Additionally, for those that are able to share a GoFundMe account has been set up on behalf of Richard and his family for the medical and living expenses this new normal is bringing. A big thank you to Al with BBC as with his permission I have posted a link for the GoFundMe page below.
Thank you and have a Blessed and Merry Christmas.
