Where to fish in the winter?

If you could go to one lake in the south east to catch some good fish around February where would it be? Looking to go see some lakes I've never been to and to find some warmer weather also at that time of the year.

The Big O. The fish look like a torpedo coming after a moving bait.

Florida for the warmer weather. It's still pretty chilly on rayburn and toledo. But in February you can go to any lake in the south and there will be some big prespawn fish. Lakes like falcon, the big O, those places turn on in January

Warmer? Like, above freezing? That's what we call warm this time of year. We don't break out the word "cold" until there's a negative in front of the number.

You don't know how good you have it!!

Lake Moultrie. You are close enough where you can pick days after a warming trend.
