If you could go to one lake in the south east to catch some good fish around February where would it be? Looking to go see some lakes I've never been to and to find some warmer weather also at that time of the year.

The Big O. The fish look like a torpedo coming after a moving bait.

Florida for the warmer weather. It's still pretty chilly on rayburn and toledo. But in February you can go to any lake in the south and there will be some big prespawn fish. Lakes like falcon, the big O, those places turn on in January
Thanks everyone I was thinking the big o myself just wanted to see how fishing topically was that time of year

There's one right here in your home state that's pretty well known!
Falcon. Maybe not quite Southeast, of course Fork. Florida comes to mind if your after big fish, maybe not numbers.

You would be hard pressed to do better than the Big O!
Lake Moultrie. You are close enough where you can pick days after a warming trend.
