    Lynx...Wow!

Got to get a look at the new lynx for the first time at a tournament today. Wow! This thing looks like beast! The front deck is huge all the way to the front, all sorts of storage (I know storage layout preferences differ from person to person), headlight up front, what appeared to be a baitfish attracting light at the rear for night fishing, and the cockpit...DAMN! I’ve never seen a cockpit so deep on a bass boat. So deep the hotfoot is mounted to built in fiberglass pedastel. There is no doubt in my mind that a boat as deep as this will handle big water really well. I think basscat hit it out of park with the lynx. Now I’ve been a Triton guy since Triton started. But I am very impressed with what I saw in the lynx. It made my 20TRX look like a toy. Lol. I know basscat has always built a great boat, and just when u think they’ve peaked, they come out with a new line and blow ur mind.

The Caracal is the same way unreal how they got the storage you have in a 19’8 boat.

I haven't been in a Lynx but the Caracal blew my mind how deep it was... I am 6' 2" and would have a hard time stepping onto the front deck without the built in step / cooler.

They are impressive for sure, especially seeing one with a 300 V-Rod on the back

    do tell :)

I hear rumors about a redesigned Eyra, although I can't imagine what I would change on mine (other than the cooler).

This is purely a guess, but my guess is a redesign of the PII built on an Eyra type chasis.

That may well be a long wait, but you never know, BCB is very good at keeping things close to the vest.

Hybrid? You mean like a multi species that leans more to casting than trolling?

^ No. A 203 champion running surface. BassCat Puma top cap. Runs like a Champ, Fishes like a Cat. Will be a heck of a cross over boat for the Champ lovers.

The 2018 Eyras have a split locker on the starboard side, one lid roughly 1/4 the original to access the day box and the rest is a lid to access the main storage.

Rhat would be the boat that would probably get me to move up from my Sabr FTD. Always loved the PII. Just needs some freshening of the compartment layout.
