No sir I've not called. My info is from me fishing there the last day they were open to fishing Dec 1st and they said "see you Feb 12th." Unless it's changed waterfowl season is in thru Feb 11th. The information hand out flier says "reopen for fishing at 6:00 am Monday February 12th. I also bet the lower 1/3 of the lake (where we launch) is ice covered now. but that would cure itself with a few warm days and a North wind blowing warm water towards the launch area. Now if goose season were just over----- Give them a call 812 356-4744
