My question is could you mount your si transducer on the pole maybe on the front side instead of on the bottom of the trolling motor I think this would give you better si due to not turning with motor. Any thoughts pro's con's. Thanks

You could do that--don't know if the pole is rated to carry that extra weight.
Some do put a SI transducer on a static post/pole that that reason.
The 360 can do regular SI if you select it as the source for SI in the Ethernet menu.

Would it shoot through the TM or would you have a blind spot.
I have a terrova with 1198 transducer mounted on the bottom and a 360, and just mounted Onix transducer on top of the 360 shaft. I still have a lot of work to do before I can test.
How far under water does the Onix transducer have to be?
Mike
I have done it and it worked fine.

What settings would you use at the same time on the Onix and 1198 to maximize the use?
