Just switched from Sling to it and get many more channels for roughly the same price. Changed my phone's data plan (AT&T) to unlimited for what I was already paying for 5GB and get a $25 credit toward DirecTV Now and free HBO. No data usage when streaming on your phone. No contracts and can change / cancel at any time but you do have to set up auto payments as part of the deal. The only con vs. Sling is that DirecTV Now doesn't have a DVR service yet but it is coming soon.

It is what is on my phone, and it has DVR . Maybe you also have to have it at home but you can DVR off the app.

The site says they have a cloud DVR, I see it is different than the app.

And I told you that they don't have one. PlayOn isn't DirectTV.

Also with your Directv Now login you can go to individual station sites and watch their other programs. Go to NBC Sports or Fox Sports One sites and watch other games not actually playing on the DirectvNow station. This is for most providers though not just DTVN
I have been cable/pay tv free for over 20 years but when my SIL got this DTVN for $10/month I went in 1/2 with her so $5/month not bad deal for all Im getting. I load it on my PC tablet laptop firestick

I tried it today so far so good. I’m testing it before I cancel my cable. Only thing is I don’t have the outdoor channel.
