We have found its best to watch some of these with closed captioning "on". Additionally, some of these start slow and then really pick up. Peaky Blinders is one of those .....can't wait for it to come back.

I had a hard time getting into it also but it gets much better.
There are a few that I didn't think were very good though.

If you like 'Vikings' check out 'The Last Kingdom'. The first three episodes aren't real interesting but it gets much better by the 4th.

The Last Kingdom is AWESOME. I can't stand Game of Thrones, but Kingdom is more my style. Closer to actual history.

I have to say, that of all the Marvel spin-offs...I really liked "The Punisher" the best.

Not sure if it is on Netflix but there was a series call "The Wire" that is really good. Done in Baltimore about the drug scene. Really good imo.

My favorite show ever made! Have watched the whole series a couple times.

The Wire is not on Netflix. It is however the greatest series ever made. Not even close.
