    Garmin question????

    I mentioned this on another forum and didn't get a satisfactory answer. If I purchased Striker 7 sv and used the CV transducer and normally fished in water less than 25' would the difference between the CV transducer and the GT transducerer be a deal breaker? ......thanks for any comments.....crappie1133r

    my old striker 7sv with the cv made nice images....search this garmin forum for a couple comparison threads between the gt and cv and mine was cv vs totalscan

    At that depth you (at least I) can't tell any difference.

    I agree. Very little difference.

    Thanks to everyone for their comments. I had felt that I was being shorted by Garmin by removing the GT transducers, and after reading the forums I found out that no deeper than I fished it was a moot point.
