Suggestions for Installing Blue Seas 5025 Fuse Block

As the title states, I am installing a Blue Seas 5025 Fuse Block and want to run my plans by you guys. I plan to install the fuse block in my driver side rod box. I plan to use 10ga marine wire from my master power cutoff and negative in the battery compartment to power and provide ground for the fuse panel. I then plan to use 12 or 14 ga marine wire to connect my Sonar/GPS units, HB 360 switch, nmea power and LSS-1 module to the fuse panel. I plan to use ring terminals (w/heat shrink) for all end connections and butt splices (covered with heat shrink) to extend wiring as required to reach the fuse panel. Comments / Suggestions??

    Thanks

Don’t forget a fuse or breaker in one of the 10AWG wires from the battery to the box.
If you have integrity, nothing else matters. If you don't have integrity,
    nothing else matters.

Thanks. I plan to power 2 HDS12 units, 1 Helix 10, HB360, NMEA power, and LSS-1 module. Will a 10 amp fuse be sufficient or should I go larger, given the 10 ga wire?

I think you can use up to a 30 amp fuse for #10 wire.

You will want to label all wires, I found some clear heat shrink tubing and just used a label maker to do mine.

The Blue Sea Systems 5025 itself with appropriate wiring feed later could be fused at up to its capacity: 100 amps.
