    Classic Garmins

Im going to ask this in the other brand's forums. Hopefully it'll make for interesting and/or surprising choices

So what Garmins would you say are "classics" that have stood the test of time? Or your "go to" units. Or underdogs/over-performers? Or maybe if new units werent being made anymore, which models would you turn to?

For a Garmin, I would go with an Echomap 9sv. Very popular, dependable and priced reasonably. Add a Panoptix to it and you're all set.

Would have to add the 70. Early touch screen capable and a unit that anglers I speak with keep as a spare.

"Classics" in lures are comparable. Like the old Jitterbug catches them as well as new baits.

In the Electronics world a classic is a dinosaur that can not compare to new technology

Striker 9sv is like a year or two old and not a classic LOL

If you learned to read and comprehend you'd know what the whole question asked.

Just because theyre older doesnt mean they dont still work showing stuff underwater.

Kinda like a-holes...some are new to it, and some are classics
