    New record crappie

    Heard from a "Non-fisherman" that someone caught a New record Kansas crappie in the last couple of weeks ----anybody heard anything like that?????

    No new updates on the KDWPT site and can't find anything online. Some long standing records for white and black crappie. 1964 and 1957, respectively. Like Skucius said, going to take a HUGE crappie to break any records.

    I had the fish on for over 30 minutes on 2 pound test line and my partner knocked her off with the net.
