Silly Yamaha question from Merc owner

Guess I am not watching the Yamaha products as they mature but I visited their website and noticed that all of their outboards there were four stroke cycle engines. Silly question but did Yamaha abandon two stroke engines with all of their outboards presently manufactured?

Have thought seriously about selling my '17 XS for a G or SHO. Especially after seeing what it costs to get a comparable warranty through Merc.

As much as I love my yamaha, the g2 warranty is a deal that would be hard to pass up. My issue is dealer support. One dealer that's 100 miles away

You keep the SHO serviced and you'll never have to worry about the warranty cause she'll keep running.

What's that like an hour and a half on Texas roads? The way they are performing your visits should be few and far between.
