    Also, put the trailer style toter on and run it way down into the trailer. Sometimes if the transom de-laminates from the knee braces and or rots while the knee braces are still strong and tied to the stringers, it may not cave in, but will bulge out to expose the issue. I've found this to be more effective in diagnosing transom health than jumping and pushing it down into the knee braces. They usually hold longer and can cover up issues.
