The bottom and back rest are separate cushions.Originally Posted by cichlidfish
Ya the back rests are connected to the frame on the bottom of the seats. If you want to take them out you'll have to remove everything and unscrew that bottom frame from the boat. There are several straps that hold the frame on that are a pain to get to.
