I've played the last 23 months. Last winter I got out at least once due to the "mild" winter we had. If the temp gets above 40 and there is no snow we played.
I put a big 12'x16'x10' hitting cage in my yard with a driving range mat last year and when snow is called for I cover the hitting mat and then shovle the cage area.

As long as the greens are not frozen and they let me on the course I keep playing. My coldest round last year was 37 degrees at the first tee. I layer up,use my push cart and walk the course.

Southeast Missouri. I am a member of a small semi-private club. We have a group of mostly retired people who play on W/F/Sunday. We have our own carts on site, with cover enclosures on them and propane heaters. 40 degrees and above is our standard guideline. Winds can make 40 too cold though. But we old farts try to play as much as possible through the winter. The worse thing of course is snow.

I live near Vegas. It's been pretty great weather for the past few months. Winter is great for golf. I'm going to try to get out this next weekend.

Were still covered with snow today. But 60+ degree weather tomorrow and friday plus rain. We are planning on opening the course back up Saturday. The staff spent all day cleaning up debris from the winter storm and didnt even make a dent
