    Schins. $1000 is a bunch of money to spend on a fishfinder for anyone. Some of us are lucky enough to have enough spendable income to be a bit extravagant, but In my case it took a long time of not spending extravagantly, and raising a family with all that entails. It would seem there are enough people out there to support the high priced spread. I think the technology would not have advanced anywhere near where it's at now if they only made the affordable ones. If your eyes are good enough the 5's an7's are one heck of a performing fish finder/gps at an unbelievable price. I don't see many "snobs" around here. Robert and Wayne are most certainly not! Bob

    Oh, I dont think Wayne was being snobby

    but there does sometimes seem to be an attitude that if you're not talking about the high-end stuff then its not worthy of being talked about.
