I use a discontinued OG zillion crazy cracker which has a 4:1 ratio for deep diver duties.

For square bills, just about any reel should work. I’ve used Steez, TD-Z’s, Zillions, SS SV103’s and Tatulas. All worked fine for me.

    I use a Tatula CT P for 6XDs. It has a 5.5:1 gear ratio and 23.3 IPT.

I use an OG Tatula or Tat CT 6.3:1 for squarebills and shallow cranks, and an OG Zillion 6.3:1 for crankbaits no matter how deep, regularly throwing the 8-16ft range.

Been using a Daiwa TD Z100m for years. Never had an issue.

The custom Zillion HD in 5.5:1 @ The Tackle Trap is an awesome mag crank/swim bait reel. The Zillion SV TW in 6.3:1 is a long casting, smooth reel capable of both 6XD and square bill cranking too. There are quite a few options, but generally with a 6XD, I don't use anything less than 6.3:1.

No hot foot - the "Crazy Cranker" Zillion was 4.9:1. The Tackle Trap still installs those gears in old original Zillions for guys who want the slow ratio. The gears we stock fill fit in any of the old Zillion platform reels...

I use a Daiwa Tatula HD 200 Casting Reel TATULA-HD200H 6.3:1. Has a larger spool so you don't cast off half the spool on long casts and big handles.
