Had the distinct pleasure of meeting Mr. Pierce at Clem Marine in Texarkana a few weeks before I picked up my first BassCat.
    An Orange and white 1500vee.
Spoke with him again at the Classic in Shreveport 2012.
One of the finest, friendliest gentlemen I ever had the pleasure of meeting.
He will be missed, but not forgotten.

I also got to meet Mr. Ron while I was visiting the factory several years ago. He, Sherm, and I ate lunch together that day. He was a brilliant man.

I never got to meet Mr Ron, but he must have been one fine individual !!! I do know that his son Rick is an amazing man. What a story they have, and what an amazing company they built together and I feel proud, lucky and fortunate to own a boat of their creation.

I bought my first BCB last year and every time I get in it I can FEEL the passion and hard work that he and his family (blood and extended/employees) put into these boats! Thank you Ron and Rick, and the rest of BCB for innovating and building one of the finest rigs to ever grace the water! RIP sir

Purchased my first new Cat in 96 from Bull Shoals Boat Dock. Ran down there on a weekend to pick it up. While they were mounting the hotfoot I looked things over real good. Found a little nick in the gel around the recess for the trolling motor pedal. One phone call from Steve and someone from the factory showed up and fixed it on their day off. While the wife and I were sitting around Ron came walking in. He sat and talked with us for a few hours like he had known us forever. Walked out to his truck and went through the back for some baits that he said "should work in your area when you get home". A memory from BCB that I'll have forever.
