    Kissimmee Infomation

We are looking at fishing Lake Kissimmee this weekend, have never fished this lake before. We will be putting in at Joe Overstreet ramp. I'm not asking for your #1 hot spot put just some general areas that may be good. Also what works good there as far as artificial baits?

There are plenty of good areas to fish on the east side of the lake just to the left and to the right of the ramp. No need to run a round too much.

The lake accommodates a lot of types of lures. Worms and swim baits should be Junebug or Watermelon red, with a black and blue creature bait (Gambler why not or Missile D bomb) for pitching . Black & blue swim jigs are also effective. The Zoom Magnum uVibe is very effective swimming it around and through the grass. Topwaters and and spinnerbaits also work well. Don't hesitate to throw a Rattletrap along the grass edges and down the grass trails,

Just a heads up. There is a small Teen Sportsfishing Tournament going out on Sunday there. I think they have around 20-25 boats. Good luck with this nasty cold front. Flip Flip Flip.
