    Best bow lift

Looking for a prop that can give the most bow lift. I'm running a 521dvx ranger 2003 with evinrude 250 do. Tried a 25 tempest and 25 and 24 fury. What you think? Hearing the new Raker ho may work.

The 25" tempest should have given you plenty of bow lift if the prop was any good. Best bow lifter is a bravo 1 but it's a four blade.

Did you adjust the PVS holes to cut down on the venting.

Mercury 250xs optimax turning a bravo 1xs 28p. When I figure out how to do it I'm going to post the video. My boat was hooked up really good. Looked sweet at that speed with my friend running along beside me doing the GoPro thing out of my old Gambler 2200.

Mine will do the same thing on break over, its the fastest of all my props, so I just feather the throttle a little bit.

I have a Triton, but this is a common issue on some boats with a Tempest Plus prop.

I never had that problem with my 521. It had a 250 HPDI on it though. It also had a 6" Bob's.

I got the best bow-lift with a 24p Razor-3. The 26 Tempest was the fastest, but it didn't have much lift.

Evinrude has a new prop made for the G2 called RX4. The 25 pitch should be close for rpm and it will give you great bow lift. The standard version has adjustable vents which may not be enough for your engine. If you can get your hands on one to try and you like the bow lift and top end there is a version made for the G1 with 1 inch vent holes. It's awesome! Here are the part numbers for the large vent G1- RX4s
    768461 Rx4 prop, 24P, 1" vent port
    768462 Rx4 prop, 25P, 1" vent port
    768463 Rx4 prop, 26P, 1" vent port
